In Amsterdam a lot of cafés have a cat. I guess it keeps the mice population at bay. Funny thing is, those cats get a lot of attention from customers or people who walk by on the street. Just like this little red pussy cat in Louis I photographed a couple of days ago. Red couldn’t care less though and ignored most attention. Smart pussy.
Ik zag deze blikjes van de week staan bij Marqt. Ik vond dat de kat op het blik nogal apart kijkt. Probeert hij ons te hypnotiseren of zag hij een grote hond op zich af lopen toen de foto gemaakt werd? Over katten gesproken: ik heb vernomen dat Tim inmiddels een vriendje in huis heeft en daarom een stuk minder mauwt.
Dit is Tim, de kat waar ik op pas. Tim is typisch zo’n kat die te vroeg bij zijn moeder is weggehaald: hij kan ver-schrik-kelijk zeuren. Uren achter elkaar kan hij mauwen, ook als hij alles heeft wat zijn harte begeert. Maar soms moet ik ook wel weer om hem lachen, als hij ze letterlijk ziet vliegen bijvoorbeeld.
Oh ja, dit is de kat waar we in Nigtevecht op pasten. Doortje. Gezellig beestje hoor. Kwam heel veel kopjes geven en knuffels halen.

I am no dog person, I hate the bastards, but not really a cat person either. But I thought this cat was kind of funny, sunbathing on the terrace table of a restaurant.
