Het Parool, this week
Although I am a regular Webhead and love blogging and publishing on the web, I still get a kick out of it when my articles are printed on paper, like this interview with Pieter van Oudheusden that was published Wednesday in Het Parool. If you want to read it, check it out here.

On the set
Almere, 10:30 pm
Yesterday I shot a video-reportage on a new television programme called Madiwodovrijdagshow. In the lcd display you can see presenter Paul de Leeuw, with his two side-kicks Filemon Wesselink and Erben Wennemars. If you are a member of the VARA, you can check out the video here.
Ready to shoot-‘n-roll
Media Park, Hilversum 5:30 pm
For my work at the VARA I make video reportages and interviews. Yesterday I shot an interview with presenter Menno Bentveld. My colleague Clementine did the interview, while I shot the shots. Although it was late in the afternoon and we figured every one would have left for home around that time, suddenly we heard some one whistle. When we went out to the hall to check out who it was, we saw the one and only Edwin Rutten. Ome Willem himself. One of my heroes from early childhood.
Minck Oosterveer
Scheffersplein 1, Dordrecht 1:40 pm
Comic book artist Minck Oosterveer is signing books outside Stripwinkel Sjors, after I interviewed him in the house above the store. Minck and I discussed his comic Ronson Inc and his work on The Unknown, which is written by Mark Waid. The article will be published in Eppo in a couple of weeks.
Toby Morris
Toby Morris’ garden, 1:15 pm
Interviewing artist Toby Morris in his backyard for Het Parool. Toby drew a picture every day for a year and published them on his blog. Observations about Amsterdam mixed with slices of life. Later on he published them in a book called Alledaags. Actually, this book inspired me to start my photoblog. Next Saturday our conversation will be printed in the Dutch newspaper Het Parool.
